Firewire Cameras Connection Diagnostics

If image from any firewire camera is not visible in your application, please follow steps below:
  • Install latest XIMEA API Software Package
  • Restart PC
  • Check if Windows can see the camera device
    • Open Device Manager by right click on Computer icon on desktop
    • Check if device is listed

      Picture shows connected camera
  • Check if test application shows the image
    • Click Start / All Programs / XIMEA API / Utilities / New CCD Test.
    • In the opened window the serial number of camera should be listed
    • Start acquisition by click of button marked with green arrow
    • Image from camera should be visible instead of blue background
