Powered by the new-generation Sony Pregius S™ family
At the heart of the platform sits Sony's new-generation Pregius S™ family, the IMX927-937 - global-shutter imaging that is faster across the board. The family spans 12 to 105 Mpix of resolution with 2.74 µm BSI pixels and frame rates of up to 660 FPS, so you can move from compact, high-speed models to full-frame 105 Mpix detail while staying inside a single, consistent architecture.
Two interfaces, one architecture
The same sensor platform, carried by the interface your system needs - each camera is built around one interface, selected when you configure it. PCIe Gen 4 ×4 delivers 64 Gbit/s of bandwidth: the throughput of the previous PCIe Gen3 ×8 generation, with half the cabling. USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 delivers 20 Gbit/s: four times faster than the 5 Gbit/s USB3 found in most cameras on the market today, bringing high-resolution sensors and high frame rates to systems built around USB. Both options run on the same sensor family and architecture, so the decision is purely about the bandwidth and cabling profile that fits your setup - one sensor family, your choice of interface.
The complete imaging chain
See the full platform working end to end: a 105 Mpix full-frame global-shutter camera on PCIe Gen 4 ×4, paired with our active Canon RF mount adapter for direct focus and aperture control. As Canon's EF mount is phased out, RF is the natural match for full-frame Sony sensors, and having active lens control as part of the imaging chain means one coherent, application-ready system rather than a stack of separate parts. And to see the platform's second face, the same sensor generation runs live at the booth in a 20 Gbit/s USB configuration.
Modularity and versatility
With your interface set, the platform still leaves room to tailor everything around it. A high-speed board-to-board connector between the interface and connector board means the connector layout can be adapted quickly at configuration - vertical or horizontal Type-C, Firefly, SFF, and more - matched with your choice of cabling, from ribbon to copper to optical. The same modular approach makes OEM customization straightforward and enables direct integration into carrier boards for embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson. If the off-the-shelf configuration gets you most of the way there, our custom engineering team closes the gap.

Both camera series feature a PCIe Gen3 interface, ensuring high-speed data transfer and low-latency.
