XIMEA PCIe cameras - The ultimate solution for high-speed edge AI

Our PCI Express (PCIe) cameras are built for the demands of edge computing and AI. With up to 64 Gbit/s bandwidth and direct memory access (DMA), they deliver ultra-low latency and real-time data streaming straight to the GPU for immediate processing.

Supporting frame rates in the thousands and high resolution at high frame rate, they combine exceptional speed, precision, and reliability.

Features like ROI control, fast binning, and long-distance cabling make them ideal for high-performance, scalable edge AI systems that require instant, high-quality image data without compromise.

XIMEA and PCIe

XIMEA cameras use PCIe interfaces to deliver maximum sensor performance, ultra-low latency, and high bandwidth for demanding imaging applications. PCIe enables fast, efficient data transfer from single or multi-camera setups to workstations, servers, or GPUs.

Its scalable, backward-compatible architecture ensures seamless integration and future-proof performance for high-throughput sensors and advanced vision systems.

xiX - Precision, flexibility, and scalability

The XIMEA xiX series delivers high performance and scalability with resolutions up to 65.4 Mpix and support for multiple synchronized modules. Its compact, low-latency design ensures seamless integration even in tight spaces, and the PCIe interface provides ultra-fast, reliable data transfer. With modular configurations and support for a variety of sensor types, including Sony Pregius™ and CMOSIS, the xiX series offers the adaptability and flexibility

xiX-Xtreme - Detachable sensor heads

The xiX-Xtreme expands the xiX series, offering 32 Gbit/s PCIe Gen3 support for Sony's high-speed Pregius™ S sensors (16.1-24.5 Mpix). Its compact, detachable sensor head enables excellent heat dissipation and integration into tight spaces. With global shutter, BSI, and 160 FPS at full resolution, HDR dual gain, and ultra-low latency, the xiX-Xtreme is ideal for PIV, high-speed imaging, and multi-platform use on Windows, Linux, macOS, ARM, or NVIDIA Jetson.

MX081 - UV imaging

Discover the unseen! XIMEA's MX081 UV camera features Sony's IMX487 sensor. It captures UV light from 200 - 400nm with 8.1 MPix resolution at 59 FPS. It's compact 26x26mm design is perfectly suited for diverse applications, ranging from forensics to industrial inspection, revealing hidden details beyond visible light.

xiRay - Extraordinary X-ray imaging

Featuring 15 - 151 Mpix sCMOS/CMOS sensors, 14/16-bit images, and ultra-low noise, the xiRay offers exceptional clarity and flexibility. With customizable scintillators, fiber-optic options, USB3/Thunderbolt 3 interfaces, and Peltier cooling, the xiRay delivers precise, high-resolution results for scientific and micro-CT applications.

xiB-64 - The big brother of xiB

The XIMEA xiB-64 delivers ultra-fast, low-latency imaging in a compact, robust housing built for peak performance. With resolutions up to 65 Mpix and frame rates ranging from 71 to 3,700 FPS, it offers exceptional speed and detail. Its PCIe Gen3 interface provides direct transfer of up to 64 Gbit/s to RAM, eliminating the need for frame grabber, and supports fiber-optic links of up to 100 m. This makes the xiB-64 ideal for industrial, scientific, and cinematic high-speed applications.
