Overview¶

Voyant Vision is library of software functions that makes developing machine vision solutions easier. It’s brought to you by Lecky Integration, a consulting business with more than 20 year's experience creating customized machine vision systems that integrate cameras, lighting, and specialized software for use in factory automation, inspection, and security applications.

Installation¶

• Download and install the Voyant Vision library
• Download XIMEA API Software Package
• When choosing components make sure: API and Voyant Vision demo are checked
• Finish installation

Sample¶

This application demonstrates the use of the Voyant Vision library version blob extraction and and optical character recognition.
The demo application enables the user to:

• preview live image from the camera
• control camera resolution, binning, exposure and gain
• extract blobs from image, set thresholding
• apply OCR to image, read lines of text, set minimal recognition quality
