XIMEA’s industrial camera line includes the GigE Vision-compatible CURERRA smart cameras, compact industrial cameras for PC-based vision, and board-level OEM camera/sensors for industrial imaging applications in factory automation, flat panel, intelligent transportation systems, solar, electronics, packaging, and printing industries, among others.
XIMEA offers fully tested Windows- and Linux-based application programming interfaces (APIs) to simplify integration of XIMEA smart and industrial cameras with 25 of the most common image processing libraries on the market, including Cognex VisionPro, MathWorks MATLAB, Matrox MIL, MVTec Halcon, National Instruments LabVIEW, NeuroCheck, OpenCV, Intel IPP, open source libdmtx, open source AForge.NET, open source Integrating Vision Toolkit, Keyetech, RoboRealm, STEMMER IMAGING Common Vision Blox, Tordivel Scorpion, and Voyant Vision, with more APIs under development.
XIMEA industrial cameras come with a range of sensor resolutions and can be used as industrial stand-alone cameras or as part of a PC-based vision system. XIMEA’s mini industrial cameras offer resolutions ranging from 1.4 megapixels (MP) to 16 MP and come with either CCD or CMOS sensors, global or rolling shutters, and USB or FireWire interfaces in miniature housings no larger than 60x60x40mm. XIMEA’s board-level cameras pack up to 16MP in a 24x36mm footprint.
